What is Beheadline?
Beheadline is a digital newspaper for SaaS products and independent builders. You submit a story about your website, and readers can click it to visit you. Sponsored submissions are ranked together. Spaces that have not been filled show invitations for builders to submit their stories; they are not published listings.
How do I submit my website?
Choose “Submit your story,” enter your website URL, and review the suggested headline and description. Prepare your story to get a Beheadline share link, include that link in a public X post, and paste the X post URL into the submission form. Choose your copies and complete checkout. Your listing is published after payment is verified.
What are copies, and how much do they cost?
Copies are digital units that contribute to your listing’s ranking. Each $1 USD buys 100 copies, starting at 100 copies. For example, $5 buys 500 copies. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Copies do not represent printed newspapers or a promised number of views. See our pricing policy for details.
Can I choose or own a position?
The ranking algorithm chooses your position using copies + (2 × recorded X likes). Higher scores rank first. If scores tie, the earlier accepted submission ranks higher. Your position can change as other stories are published; purchasing copies does not reserve a column.
Do new X likes update my ranking automatically?
Currently, likes are recorded when your submission is prepared for payment. We do not continuously refresh them from X, so likes received afterward do not automatically change your score.
Does buying copies buy a position on Google?
Copies affect your position inside Beheadline. Search engines decide their own rankings, and we do not promise a search-ranking benefit from a purchase. Paid listing links are identified as sponsored links for search engines.
Where will my story appear?
The first 108 positions appear across the newspaper’s 12 pages. Additional submissions appear in the pamphlets section below. Ranking determines where each story appears. We do not guarantee a particular position, number of clicks, or sales.
Is my story public before I pay?
Preparing your story creates a public share page for your X post. Anyone with that link can view its headline, description, website link, and available image before payment. Your story enters the ranked newspaper only after payment is verified.
How are stories checked?
Automated checks review submitted text and available images for explicit adult content, hate, targeted harassment, and abuse before checkout. If a check rejects the submission, it cannot proceed. Read our listing moderation policy for the scope of these checks and how to report a concern.
What happens when someone clicks my listing?
They go directly to your website through a tracked redirect. The destination link includes Beheadline UTM attribution so your own analytics can identify the referral. Click totals belong to your submission and stay with it when its rank changes. They count clicks, not distinct people, and updates may take a short time to appear.
Is this a subscription? How do I get billing help?
Each purchase is a one-time payment. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. For a payment problem, a missing listing after payment, or a refund request, email contact@beheadline.com with your order reference. See the refunds section of our Terms.
What do online and total visits mean?
Online estimates distinct browsers active in the last 90 seconds. Total visits counts page loads, including returning to the site, opening another tab, and reloading. Keeping a page open does not add visits. These are visits, not a count of individual people. The total includes the earlier browser count; repeat visits before this change were not recorded.
Where can I read about my data?
Our Privacy Policy explains public story information, visitor counting, click tracking, browser storage, and the providers involved in preparing and publishing a listing. You can use our support email for privacy questions, corrections, or deletion requests.
