Listing moderation
Every submitted listing goes through automated content checks before checkout.
How listings are reviewed
We use automated checks to review the website title, summary, suggested headline, and available preview image. We check the final headline, description, and available image again when you prepare your story. These checks accept or reject the submission using the content rules below.
A rejected submission cannot proceed to checkout. If the check cannot be completed, we ask you to try again instead of treating the submission as approved. Passing listings are published automatically once payment is verified.
Content rules
Our automated checks reject:
- Explicit adult sexual content.
- Hateful content.
- Targeted harassment and abusive content.
These checks focus on the content submitted for the listing. They do not judge a website’s popularity, design quality, political viewpoint, or commercial value. Ordinary reporting about sensitive topics is permitted when the submitted content is not itself explicit adult or abusive content.
What an accepted listing means
Acceptance means the submitted content passed these automated checks. It is not an endorsement, a fact check, or a security certification of the linked website. We review the extracted content and available image, not every page on the destination website. Published destinations are not continuously rescanned.
Advertisers are responsible for their submitted content, the rights to use it, and the website they link to. A payment does not exempt a listing from moderation.
Report a listing or appeal a decision
Email contact@beheadline.com with the listing headline or website URL, the reason for your report or appeal, and any relevant evidence. You can also use this address if you believe your submission was rejected in error.
Reports do not automatically remove a listing. Beheadline reserves the right to reject or remove listings that violate its content rules or applicable legal requirements. The automated checks described above apply before publication; there is currently no automated report review or takedown process.
